What is a PUC Certificate?
A Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate is an official document that certifies your vehicle emission levels are within the permissible limits set by the Central Motor Vehicles Rules. The PUC certificate is mandatory for all motor vehicles in India.
The PUC test measures the emission levels of your vehicle, including carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and other pollutants. Vehicles that pass the test are issued a PUC certificate valid for a specific period.
Not having a valid PUC certificate while driving is a traffic violation under the Motor Vehicles Act. The fine for not having a valid PUC certificate is Rs. 1,000 for the first offence and Rs. 2,000 for subsequent offences.

Get Your Vehicle Tested
The testing center will connect a probe to your vehicle exhaust pipe to measure emission levels. The test takes only a few minutes.
Receive PUC Certificate
